May 22, 2014:  Alexis Calleja was honored today by the Women’s Committee of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Miami for her work as the Chairperson for the Women’s Committee’s “Jazz at Joe’s” fundraiser – one of the most successful events of the 2014 fundraising season. Ms. Calleja is a tireless contributor to various civic and charitable organizations in the South Florida area.

Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Miami serves thousands of children in South Florida by providing mentorship and scholarships to children. Volunteers work with Little Brothers/Little Sisters in communities and schools, provide exposure to career opportunities and provide college scholarships.
