Hudson & Calleja Colleagues Recognized Among Florida’s Legal Elite

February 28, 2013:   Partners Rob Hudson and Alexis Calleja and attorney Dania Battle have been selected by their peers for inclusion in Florida Trend magazine’s 2013 “Legal Elite” list. Fewer than 2% of Florida lawyers are chosen for this honor.

The Legal Elite list is compiled from recommendations of members of the Florida Bar who are asked to nominate fellow attorneys who are held in the highest regard by their peers. Former recipients of this exclusive honor are charged with evaluating and conferring this coveted status upon a select group of their peers.

Alexis Calleja Nominated The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ‘s Woman of the Year

February 4, 2013:  Alexis Calleja has been nominated for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – South Florida Chapter’s 2013 Woman of the Year.

The woman of the year honor is awarded to a champion who is dedicated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to raise money for blood cancer research.  They find innovative ways to support a foundation that has invested almost $1 billion in research for breakthrough therapies.

The funds raised through Ms. Calleja’s efforts go towards education and advocacy, families of patients, and survivor care. The 2013 event honoring Ms. Calleja was held at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 in Ft. Lauderdale on June 8^th, 2013.
