Dania Battle is an associate at Hudson & Calleja, LLC. Her practice is concentrated on personal injury, wrongful death and employment litigation. Prior to joining Hudson & Calleja, LLC, Ms. Battle was an associate at the law firm of Friedman, Rodman & Frank, P.A. handling all aspects of litigation and trial practice in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, products liability, negligent security, negligent supervision and medical malpractice.

Ms. Battle, who is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, earned her Juris Doctor degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 2009.  She was a member of the Dean’s List, the Cuban-American Bar Association and the Entertainment/Sports Law Society.  She also was an intern during the 2008 Fall Semester for Put Something Back, an organization which provides legal services to persons who otherwise could not afford legal representation.  While in law school, she also clerked for the law firm of Dienstag, Cox & Associates, P.A. and served as a student attorney for the St. Thomas University Immigration Clinic.  Ms. Battle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and International Business from Florida International University in 2003.  While at FIU, she was named to the Dean’s List, was a member of the Student Government Association and the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and was a College of Business Intern.  She also was active in many charitable endeavors, including the FIU Food Runners and the Circle K Community Service Organization.  Ms. Battle was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and also is a member of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.  In addition to being passionate about the practice of law, she is committed to helping others less fortunate and has dedicated countless pro bono hours providing legal services to lower income persons and recent United States immigrants seeking to improve their immigration status.  She is also actively involved in the legal community and is a member of various professional organizations including the American Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, and Cuban-American Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Battle gained corporate experience working for Carnival Cruise Lines for three years.  At Carnival, she initiated and managed advertising and sales campaigns aimed at generating new business and implemented successful strategies designed to decrease departmental cancellation ratios.  She consistently exceeded sales quotas and served as a Team Leader based on her exceeding all job performance criteria.
